Obituary of PICHETTE – Paul

July 24, 1946 – October 3, 2010 Paul Pichette beloved husband of Claudette of Calgary, passed away on Sunday, October 3, 2010 at the age of 64 years. Paul was born July 24, 1946 in Hull, Quebec. Paul had a passion for sports, be it golf, hockey, skiing or baseball. He also actively involved himself in virtually every sport his children were determined to try, and there were many. Paul was an industrious worker and entrepreneur. His vast working experience included fishing, scuba diving, carpentry, machining and various business ventures. He was a tremendous salesman and innovative problem solver. He was always a perfectionist in his work no matter how trivial the task. Paul was a fiercely committed member of AA and helped countless people over the past quarter century. Paul loved to ride motorbikes and was a long time member of the Sober Riders Motorcycle Club. Paul certainly had a lifetime of achievements and experiences of which his family is so proud. Of most importance and a true testament to his character were the core values he exhibited in every facet of his life; namely loyalty, pride, selflessness and being humble. Those who knew Paul well appreciated his sense of humour and infectious laugh. Paul is forever the loving husband to his wife Claudette; committed father to his twin boys, Dan and Mitch; doting father-in-law to Erin and Kristy; and the grandfather who was over the moon for his grandson Grady Daniel. He is also survived by his brother Andre and his sister-in-law Diane; nieces Marie-Eve, Noamie and France; and nephew Stephane. Paul was predeceased by his parents, Aldege and Aline, and his sister Joceline.
