Obituary of Grierson – Isabella

March 5, 1915 – October 2, 2010 Isabel passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 2, 2010 at the age of 95 years. A proud native Calgarian, Isabel had an avid interest in sports and was blessed to live in her own home until her passing. She will be sorely missed by her family and her many friends at the Riverside Towers who made her last years so active and enjoyable. Isabel is survived by her daughter Dorothy (Fred) Blunden of Invermere, BC and son David (Maureen) Grierson of Calgary; grandchildren Cameron Grierson of Vancouver, Sheri (Jock) Wilson, Janice (Rob LaRush) Blunden, and Shelley (Jan) Rozek all of Calgary. Also her great-grandchildren Samuel and Aimee Wilson, Emily, Avery, and Riley Rozek; brothers Thomas Beverly (Joan) Kitchen of Airdrie and Malcolm (Mac and Joyce) Kitchen of Vancouver WA, USA and numerous nieces and nephews in Canada and the USA. Isabel was predeceased by her husband David Grierson, her parents Ted and Dolly Kitchen, and her brothers Robert (Bob) Kitchen and Charles (Chuck) Kitchen. A gathering celebrating Isabel’s life will be held on Saturday, October 9, 2010 at Parkdale Nifty Fifties (3512 5 Avenue NW, Calgary, Alberta T2N 0V7), from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Forward condolences through .
