Obituary of SMITH – Richard Roy Lorne

March 25, 1946 – October 1, 2010 Richard Roy Lorne Smith beloved husband of Hilary Pauline Smith (nee Shotton) of Calgary, passed away on Friday, October 1, 2010 at the age of 64 years. Richard was a quiet, gentle soul who was always willing to do whatever he could for anyone and didn’t expect anything in return. He was a good and kind man and will be in our hearts and memories always. Besides his loving wife Hilary, Richard is survived by his daughter Veronica Corinne Smith and her spouse Kevin LaChance; granddaughter Kaley Nicole LaChance; and grandson Alias LaChance. Richard will be greatly missed and fondly remembered by his brother, sisters, and other family members, as well as numerous friends who reside in Ontario, as well as his family, friends, colleagues, and coworkers here in Calgary.
