Obituary of McARTHUR – Ross James

July 13, 1957 – October 1, 2010 Ross McArthur beloved husband of Betty Jean McArthur of Calgary, passed away on Friday, October 1, 2010 at the age of 53 years. Ross was born in Kitchener-Waterloo, ON and moved to Calgary with his family when he was a boy. He graduated from Central Memorial High School in 1975 Ross married Betty Jean in Lethbridge in 1977, they welcomed their first daughter Roxanne in 1978 and their second daughter Rachelle in 1980.Ross attended Mount Royal College, graduating with his Business Administration Certificate and began a successful career in the financial industry Ross enjoyed life to the fullest , enjoying boating, golf, travel, cooking and most of all being with family and friends. He will be remembered for his wonderful sense of humour, making people laugh and feel special. Ross is survived by his loving wife Betty Jean, two daughters and sons-in-law, Roxanne and Nelson Nobrega, Rachelle and Scott Knisely, a granddaughter Charlize Knisely. He also leaves three special dogs Teddi, Ernie and Harley.He was predeceased by his parents Jack and Ruth McArthur.
