Condolences
I can’t believe that I won’t be seeing Linda at GreenBriar. I loved watching Worthy dance with joy when he saw her coming down the stable aisle! She was a wonderful, fun loving and kind person and my daughter and I will miss her gentle, joyful presence. Our condolences to her family. I’m so sorry to have missed her service but I didn’t know about it.
We are so shocked and saddened by Linda’s sudden passing. Linda was such a patient and kind person. Sometimes it is hard to understand why such a kind soul must be taken from us so soon. Needless to say, Greenbriar will not be the same without Linda there, and we will miss her so much. We are so sorry we could not be there to remember Linda, and offer our condolences to her family personally.
I first met Linda years ago when my family moved to the Cochrane area, and I went to school, grade seven, to Manachaban. Though we didn’t end up running in the same circles, Linda and I noticed each other and liked each other. As kids we played sports together and sat on the bus together, then, for a time Linda was married into our family. And while marriage, even between two very lovely people, doesn’t always work, it was wonderful to have Linda so often in our midst. I always found there to be a simplicity — or pureness — to her that is rare in this world, and it really is the epitome of beauty. I am so sad today to learn of her passing, and though we didn’t see much of her these last few years, we will very much miss her in the world. Our love and prayers go out to all Linda’s family and friends — including the four-footed ones. Our hearts, too, follow her and wish her peace.
