Obituary of GRIFFITHS – Michael Herbert

April 20, 1956 – September 27, 2010 We are saddened to announce that Michael Griffiths passed away on September 27, 2010 in the loving arms of his saviour. Besides his mother Lorraine Griffiths, Michael is survived by his children Jason, Holly, Lauren, and their mother Shelly McLean (Mike). He is also survived by his brother Ross (Elizabeth), sister Carrie (Robb), sister-in-law Debbie and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. Michael will be deeply missed by all of his friends. Michael was predeceased by his father Paul and brother Peter. Michael was transferred to Calgary in 1990 with his family because of his job with Trans Canada Pipeline. The best thing in life to Michael was his children, he took so much pride and joy seeing them, and he was always there at family functions. Michael was a dedicated member of the Salvation Army, Glenmore Temple. As his children would say he loved all sports, any sport that was on television he would watch. Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Crowfoot Chapel (82 Crowfoot Circle N.W.), on Sunday, October 3, 2010 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be held at Salvation Army (921 68th Avenue SW, Calgary, Alberta, T2V 0N7), on Monday, October 4, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev.
