Condolences
Meghan and Brett – My heart sank when I heard today of your Mom’s passing. Your Mom was always very good to me, and I shall not forget her kindness during my early years in the Kootenays. Take comfort in knowing others are thinking of you during this tough period. God bless.
I worked with Sue at Crestbrook in the late 1970’s, and very much enjoyed her sense of humour. I always remember this story she told:
Mom had brought home a new baby brother. Sue wasn’t impressed with him. One day, Mom couldn’t find the infant – she thought she’d put him in his crib, but he wasn’t there. Where could he have got to????
Then she asked Sue if she knew where her baby brother was. “Yes,” said little Sue.
“He’s in the garbage. You said that’s where we put things we don’t want, and I don’t want him!”
Hope this story makes you smile – I always do when I think of Sue.
Condolences on your loss. Take care, Meghan and Brett.

Geoff, Meghan and Brett,
My thoughts and love are with you.
Sue was a great friend, teacher and coach and my life would not have been the same if Sue had not been in it. I am very honored I shared many years with Sue…..
I can hear her laughter still and I always will.

If We Could Bring You Back Again
If we could bring you back again,
For one more hour or day,
We’d express all our unspoken love;
We’d have countless things to say.
If we could bring you back again,
We’d say we treasured you,
And that your presence in our lives
Meant more than we ever knew.
If we could bring you back again,
To tell you what we should,
You’d know how much we miss you now,
And if we could, we would.
We will miss you Suzie. Will always remember my beautiful high school friend.
Dear Meghan, Brett, and Geoff

I am so very sad to hear of Sue’s passing and wish to send my sincere condolences.
Although I had not seen Sue for years – possibly decades, her laughter still rings in my memory. Her love of life was an ispiration – especially in those awkward teen years.
There was no one more fun to be with on a bugle band trip than Sue.
Sue, you will be missed.
My sincere condolences for all of Sue’s family. Sue was a good person and will be missed.

Deepest sympathy for your great loss.
Dear Geoff, Meghan & Brett:
Our sincere condolences on the loss of Sue. She was such a wonderful person who loved to laugh and live life to the fullest. We remember the Nickell family reunions all too well. There was never a dull moment to be had when Sue, Gwen & Connie were all together. Those were some of the best and most memorable times and we will cherish them forever!
Please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers at this difficult time!
