Chris and I just got back from Spain last evening and saw that Ed had passed away. We are very sorry for your loss.

Ed was a wonderful person.

My sincere condolences to Ed’s wife Viola and all his family members on learning of Ed’s passing. I saw Ed on a weekly basis at the lodge. Early memories in the past five years were when we met for the monthly meeting with Cedars Staff. I enjoyed Ed’s calm and gentlemanly manner at our luncheon meetings. I will always be grateful that he was ‘Papa” for Robin and Joel. They (and I) will cherish the great memories of time spent with him. He was a genuinely ‘good guy’. As you say, Dennis, the time was probably right, but that does not necessarily make it any easier for any of you. My thoughts are with you…
