Obituary of OTRHALEK – Miles Spencer

March 2, 1932 – September 25, 2010 Miles Otrhalek, beloved husband of Barbara of Calgary, passed away suddenly on Saturday, September 25, 2010 at the age of 78 years. Miles was born in Barnwell, Ab and raised in the Cranford/Readymade area. He completed his first class welder apprenticeship in 1969. Shortly thereafter Miles relocated to Calgary, retiring from A R Williams Truck Division in 2007. Miles will be lovingly remembered by his wife Barbara, sons, Richard (Debby) Otrhalek, Darcy (Maritza) Cadre, daughter Rhonda Cadre (Patrick Horner); granddaughters, Dyani Otrhalek and Victoria Cadre; as well as sisters, Anne Julien, Lydia Gropp, Rosemarie Renwick and brother Frank Otrhalek. He will also be sadly missed by sister and brother-in-law, Roberta and Keith Powell, as well as several nieces and nephews. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Gerard’s Catholic Church (8944 Elbow Drive S.W.) on Thursday, September 30, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
