Obituary of BLOOD – Evelyn Elizabeth

September 2, 1932 – September 22, 2010 It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, Evelyn Blood, who was taken from us after a courageous battle with cancer. Evelyn passed away peacefully at the age of 78 years old at Southwood Hospice, surrounded by her family. Evelyn leaves behind her loving husband of fifty-eight years Eugene; two sons, Randy (Cherill) and Robert (Tracy); two daughters, Bonnie and Connie (Neil) Winder; four grandchildren, Michael, Marie (Wade) Froese, Caitlin, and Kalysha; and two great grandchildren, Gabriella and Zachary. Evelyn is also survived by her sister Pat Johnson; and sisters-in-law, Doris Blood and Janice (Frank) Gardener; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Evelyn was predeceased by her father Phil; mother Anne; sister Elaine; and brother Dennis. Evelyn was employed by CIBC for several years, before retiring from Sureway Metal Systems after nineteen years as Office Manager. Evelyn enjoyed reading, music, singing, dancing, doing crafts, and volunteering. She was a devoted wife and mother and enjoyed life to the fullest.
