Obituary of LEEMAN – Kathaleen nee Rothwell

June 1, 1918 – September 21, 2010 Kay, born June 1, 1918, a native Calgarian, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 21, 2010. Raised in the community of Ramsay with eleven siblings, then resided in Victoria Park and Stanley Park. Kay was an ardent golfer and was a member of the Inglewood Golf and Curling Club for 50 years. She is remembered in love and gratitude by her daughter, Maralyne (Bruce) Spurway; grandchildren Ross (Leah) Spurway, Diane Spurway, Mark (Jennifer) Bauer and great-grandchildren Holly, Brooke, Landen, Julian, Evan and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Stan Leeman in 1974, daughter Linda Bauer in 1970 and eleven brothers and sisters. Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Park Memorial Chapel (5008 Elbow Drive S.W.) on Monday, September 27, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. A private family graveside will take place at Queen’s Park Cemetery.
