Dear Mrs. Beare ( Susan) and sons Richard and Chris:
I was taken aback yesterday when I read of Jim’s passing but likewise have many fond memories and realize that you will also recognize the talent and humour your better half and father had.
I can not be present with you during this time but please understand that I am present with you in thought and grief.
Jim had ability and above that he was one very wise and considerate person. His “little” touches always reflected consideration and thoughtfulness.
He was a learned man and yet he had the ability to explain the complex in terms a young person could relate to and understand.
Jim was a gem of a person and I am sure you agree- the cast is now perhaps broken.
Again, our deepest sympathies and I am with you in thought during this time.
