Obituary of JENSEN – Dennis Arden

On Friday September 17, 2010 Dennis Arden Jensen, husband of June, father of Twyla (Duane) Anderson, Thane (Colette) Jensen and grandfather of Kendra, Elyse, Rielle, and Kordel passed away at the age of 70. Dennis was born on October 7, 1939 at Gull Lake, Saskatchewan and lived his formative years in Swift Current. He graduated from the University of Alberta with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering in 1961. Most of his early career in the Oil and Gas Industry was situated in Alberta and Saskatchewan. However, in later years his work involved international opportunities which took him to Africa, Indonesia, Russia and Hungary. Dennis enjoyed his leisure time with friends at the Riverside Club where he was a long time member. He had a passion and amazing talent for baseball. The family would like to express their appreciation to Dr. David Falk, Dr. Martin LaBrie, staff and volunteers at Agape Hospice for their unconditional loving care and support.
