Dear Mary and ‘Girls’,

It seeems like we must still be ‘Girls’ as it was so long ago we lived in North Glenmore. Time has flown, but we warmly recall your lovely family and our connections there.

We are very sorry to read of Del’s passing and want you to know that our caring thoughts and sincere sympathy are with you and yours.

Dear Mary,

I am so sorry to hear about Del.We got on very well at the DIC, and my wife Sally and I enjoyed your and Del’s company a few times at the DIC Christmas party.

I know roughly how you must feel because we,too, had a death in our family – one of our three sons,age 46.

Unfortunately we will be unable to attend the funeral services tomorrow.

I am a former employee of Hudson’s Bay Oil and Gas and Dome like Del.

I enjoyed seeing Del at an HBOG Reunion or 2 in recent years as well as reading of his work with the Drop-in Centre in the Calgary Herald. He did have a good sense of humour and will be missed.
