Obituary of WEBER – Robert John Burt

October 6, 1950 – September 5, 2010 The family of Burt Weber is sad to announce his sudden passing on Sunday, September 5, 2010 at the age of 59 years. As a young man Burt aspired to become a jockey spending as much time as possible at race tracks and rodeos where he developed many friendships and love of the chuck wagons. Burt loved animals especially Maverick the family dog of eighteen years. His true passion was his love of horses. Burt was fortunate to spend his last summer at the cabin riding with family and friends and his close friend Kenny (Hank) Hendricks. Burt is survived by his loving wife Cindy, two sons Tyler and Cody (Chantel) and his two grand daughters Alexa and Alyssa all of Calgary, his mother Janet of Grande Prairie, sister Judy (Eric) Wismer of Ontario, sister in law Janeille (Doug) Coreman, mother-in-law Ardis (Allan) Johnson (Minnesota). Several nieces, one nephew and their children. Burt was predeceased by his father Cecil Weber and father-in-law R.H. Wolf. A Celebration Of Burt’s Life will be held at Carriage House Inn (9030 MACLEOD TRAIL South Calgary, Alberta) on Friday, September 17, 2010 at 3:00 p.m. As per Burt’s request, jeans and boots are appropriate attire.
