Obituary of OGILVIE – Robert Bruce

April 9, 1958 – September 3, 2010 Bruce Ogilvie of Calgary passed away peacefully on Friday, September 3, 2010 surrounded by his family, at the age of 52. Jumping out of airplanes, exploring ship wrecks, cooking and the stock market were some of his many passions. Bruce was a valued member of the Ogilvie Printing Ltd. clan where he was an offset pressman for 32 years. He was a very kind and giving person and will be missed by all who knew him. He is survived by his mother Velma, brothers Craig (Cathy) & Brian (Libby) and sister Kathy (John) Canu, and nieces & nephews. Bruce was predeceased by his brother Scott and father Wally Ogilvie. An Open House celebrating Bruce’s life will be held on Saturday, September 11, 2010 at the Coast Plaza Hotel, Plaza 5, 1316 – 33 Street NE, Calgary from 2 pm – 4 pm.
