Condolences
My deepest condolences to Dr. LeBlanc’s family. Dr. LeBlanc was my Dr. and I will miss his pleasant smile and gentle manner. I always enjoyed our visits and my prayers and thoughts are with your family.
My deepest condolences to Dr. LeBlanc’s wife and family.
I was just recently informed of his passing and have been very saddened by it.
Though I wasn’t a patient of Dr. LeBlanc’s, he one day offered to remove a couple of stray stitches leftover from an outpatient surgery I had done at another clinic in 2009. I was immediately impressed with his kindness and willingness to help.
It is wonderful to see how much of a positive impact Dr. LeBlanc has had on so many people.

(long time patient)
Its with a heavy heart that I type these word to a great man who is no,longer with us, but will remain in our hearts.
Dr. Leblanc was refered to me back in 1989, not once did I come to see him in his office where he didn’t have a smile on his face and was always happy to see you. He made dealing with my mdical conditions alot more tolerable.
Dr. LeBlanc will remain in my heart and prayers to the family my deepest sympathys.
We were his patients from 1967.
Dr.LeBlanc was our physician,advisor and friend. He never failed to ask about our daughter, a downhill skier and physician. As a family we loved him.
I phoned this morning for a prescription, only to hear the tragic news. Our deepest condolences to Dr. LeBanc’s family.
You will be missed Dr. LeBlanc. Thanks for the years of wonderful care!
My condolences to the family.
Sorry to learn of the passing of Dr LeBlanc. An inspiration to me; a man able to balance work, family and having fun.

To: Dr. Leblanc’s family.
Over the past twelve years Dr. Leblanc was a friend, advisor, and my family physician. It is with sadness that I send my condolences to you . I feel a great loss for my dear friend.
I had been out of the country and learned from Audrey only today that Dr. LeBlanc had passed away. I was a patient, but Claude treated me as a friend. He provided care and counsel and while I was but one of many patients, he made me feel as if I were the only one. My sincere condolences to family, friends and colleagues.
Tempus fugit, non autem memoria
Dear Leblanc family,
On behalf of the Anderson family, Colin, Joan and Barry we would like to express our deepest sadness on the passing of Claude. He was our family doctor for many, many years. He will be greatly missed but always in our thoughts and prayers. I little poem below I found that helped me.
Letter From Heaven
To my dearest family, some things I’d like to say.
But first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I’m writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there’s no more tears of sadness;
Here is just eternal love.
Please do not be unhappy just because I’m out of sight.
Remember that I am with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through.
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, “I welcome you.
It’s good to have you back again,
you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, They’ll be here later on.
I need you here badly, you’re part of my plan.
There’s so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man,”
God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night the day’s chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you….in the middle of the night.
When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years.
Because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry: it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.
I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
If I were to tell you, you wouldn’t understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is over.
I’m closer to you now, than I ever was before.
There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
But together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I’d like it for you too;
That as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.
If you can help somebody who’s in sorrow and pain;
Then you can say to God at night……”My day was not in vain.”
And now I am contented…that my life was worthwhile.
Knowing as I passed along the way I made somebody smile.
So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low;
Just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you’re walking down the street
and you’ve got me on your mind;
I’m walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.
And when it’s time for you to go….from that body to be free.
Remember you’re not going…..you’re coming here to me.
Dear Sandra
I would like to express my sadness and condolences to you and your family with the passing of your husband and father. I was sent a copy of the newspaper notice by my ex (Marjorie) and felt a great deal of remorse even thou I haven’t seen Claude in fifty years.
We Interned together at the Calgary General Hosp. in 1960 and because of the intensity of the work, we became a very close group. I well remember Claude’s great sense of humor and the never ending smile on his face. I also recall when he found you, he said right away you would be the girl he would marry. We went to your first home in the trees somewhere near the river just after you moved in as newlyweds. I am sorry we have never kept up but I have been in the U.S for many years.
Again, my sincerest regret
Dr. Ross McNaught.
Dear Sandra and family:
Helen and I were travelling in Europe when we heard of Claude’s passing and regret we were unable to express our condolences sooner. We have fond memories of Claude who Helen consulted on her pregnancy with our daughter Jennifer and I remember Claude as my doctor when we lived in the “country” on the dam.
We all remember my mother Margaret reminiscing about the Lacey family connection and her interest in you and Claude when you were married.
It was always a pleasure to see you and Claude at the Country Club and elsewhere.
He will be missed by family and friends. We have been thinking of you.
Sincerely,
Jimmy and Helen

We are so sorry to hear of Dr LeBlanc’s passing. He always had a smile for you with every visit. I never once left his office feeling that I had been “hurried” out so that he could see someone else. He never hesitated to send myself or any of our family to a specialist if he felt it was required. As much as we will miss him, I know his family will miss him even more. Our thoughts are with you all in this difficult time.

Dear Sandra– Earlier this summer I had the pleasure of lunch down at the Glencoe with many old colleagues, including Claude. He was his old cheerful self, lighting up the room with his stories and happy ways. I always regarded him as one of the finest physicians in the city and he made me feel honoured to have been one of his best friends.
Dear Sandra,
We were saddened to read about Claude’s passing and we extend to you and your family our deepest condolences. He will be missed.
Sincerely,
Marcia and George Lane
Dear Sandra and family, please accept my sincerest sympathies. Claude was a kind, caring and compassionate person. You both were good friends to my parents Ken and Sue Marsh. As well, I have wonderful memories from my teen years when I kept my horse at your acreage. I recall one night when the horse got out of his paddock and even though Claude was not a ‘horse person’ he was right in there helping to catch him. Claude was my doctor for over 35 years. He delivered my son David. After every office visit we spent a couple of minutes catching up on news about your family and mine. I babysat Mark, Paul and JD when they were preschoolers so it was great to hear about them. It was evident how proud he was of his family. May your happy memories of him sustain you at this time. All my best, Mandy Latiff
“Doc” delivered me into the world 41 years ago, and I have fond memories of visiting him as a child in his office on Elbow Drive. As an adult nurse, I bumped into him once at the RGH — I introduced myself and told him that he delivered me, and we both had a great laugh.
My sincerest sympathy to his family and close friends.
Yvonne Klaver

Oh Sandra, Claude was such a wonderful, kind and compassionate man, a loving husband and proud father and grandfather. We were proud to be counted as his friends and the only Doctor that my husband trusted at all times. We will always remember him in his elegant “RLP” style…he was a true gentleman!
