Obituary of TARNOWSKI – Brian William

January 18, 1959 – August 21, 2010 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Brian William Tarnowski, beloved husband of Terrie Piche-Tarnowski (Therese) of Calgary, on Saturday, August 21, 2010 at the age of 51 years. Brian has called Calgary home since he moved here with his family from Brandon, MB, when he was only four years old. He loved life, and lived it to its fullest by enjoying all of his “Big Boy Toys” both in Calgary and at his home in Lake Havasu City, AZ. He will be lovingly remembered for his quick wit, straight talk, and love of fast, fun motorized vehicles. Brian found his passion working in the new home industry in show home sales with various builders for the past twenty years, and the past four years with BayWest Homes, most recently in Auburn Bay. He enjoyed helping clients to create their dream home design. Besides his loving wife and best friend of almost thirty years, Terrie, Brian will also be greatly missed by sons, Brandin and Jayden; parents, Bill and Joyce Tarnowski; sister Barb Gray; and many wonderful family members and friends. Brian was predeceased by his mother Gwen. A Celebration of Brian’s Life will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Park Memorial Chapel (5008 Elbow Drive S.W.) on Friday, August 27, 2010 at 2:30 p.m. A private celebration of Brian’s life will also be held for family, friends and neighbours in Lake Havasu City, AZ at a future date. If friends so desire, memorial donations may be made in Brian’s name directly to a trust fund being set-up for his sons at any TD Canada Trust location, or to a charity of the donor’s choice. The family would like to express their deepest gratitude to the doctors and nurses in the Bone Marrow Transplant Clinic at the Tom Baker and Home Care as well as the 911 operator, paramedics, firefighters and police officer, who all did their best.
