Dear Family…We were thankful to hear that Nellie’s suffering has come to an end. I enjoyed her fellowship when I was in the area 15 years ago. I was glad for the privilege to be able to say “goodbye” to her the day before she passed away. Nellie was such a dear. Glad for memories that warm the heart when I think of her. Sometime in the mid-90s we first met your Mother. She was a very gracious lady and we enjoyed having fellowship with her. We feel for you in your loss and hope that you find comfort in memories of the wonderful lady that she was.

My condolences on the loss of your mother which I noted in today’s paper. She was a very kind lady and it has certainly brought back a lot of memories from Vernon. (I had no idea any of you were still around Calgary. I live in Okotoks.) Such a small world. Again, my deepest sympathy to you all.
