Obituary of KNOCK – Herbert Walter Bert

November 6, 1912 – August 16, 2010 Bert Knock of Calgary, passed away on Monday, August 16, 2010 at the age of 97 years. Bert was born in Essex, England on November 6, 1912 and immigrated to Canada with his family in 1914. He married Mildred Stout in High River on November 7, 1938. Bert was employed in the parts department at Maclin Ford for fifty-nine years. Bert is survived by his son and daughter-in-law Thomas and Marlene Knock, four grandchildren Tom Knock, Tammy (Grant) Brotherton, Terry Knock and Tracy (Sari) Knock, two great grandchildren Amanda (Heath) McNeil and Angela (Chris) Johnston, three great great grandchildren Austin Johnston, Casey Johnston and James McNeil. He is also survived by a sister Florence Kenyon. He was predeceased by his wife Mildred on February 16, 2001, brother Bob Knock, and sister Alice Korgaard.
