Condolences
We are so very sorry to hear of John’s passing. Though we did not get to see him often, we will always remember the time we spent together! Please accept our sincere condolences.
Please accept my expression of sympathy and condolence in your loss. I was fortunate to have Compare Giovanni as my “Godfather”. I will always remember the food, wine and great times when our family visited. Take comfort in knowing that the memories you have will help you through this difficult time and in the years to come. He has been welcomed and is at rest in a better place. Sincerely, Marino Giancarlo
We are all so deeply sorry for the loss of father. We know how much he meant to all of you. We are very fortunate to have met him during our visits to Calgary. He is truly a great man and a great father. He will be missed but never forgotten. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you. Terry Cathy & Lindsay
Dear Rita, Scott, Morgan and Brayden,
Our family was so sad to hear of the passing our dear brother and uncle Giovanni. We know, however, that no one will miss him more than you. Therefore, we pray that God will give you the strength and guidance to get through this very difficult time. May your father’s and grandfather’s memories live in your hearts and minds forever.
Our sincerest condolences, with love,
Zia Pierina and Zio Tony and cousins,
Maria, John, Andrew and Erica DiMaria &

I worked with John at the Holy Cross Hospital and last visited him when I came to Calgary from Australia in 2008. He was such a gentleman and so wise! We enjoyed his garden and a glass of red and marvelled at his clarity of mind on that last visit. Please know that from over here in Australia, we are with you in your grief and loss!
I am so sorry for your loss. I was John’s neighbor (2840) for 15 years. We had many chats over the hedge that I always was teasing him to cut into sculptures!! We looked out for each other as good neighbors do. My cat would often sneak over to his yard and gaze at the birds in his trees. He got a kick out of that! If I was doing some baking I would take some to his house and I got a giggle when he confessed he liked a cookie and a glass of milk before he went to bed. Take comfort knowing he is with his beloved Tina and Dominic now.
Sincerely
Shelley
Our dearest niece Rita, Scott and children,
The call from Zia Assunta in Victoria, of your father’s loss, has left us speechless.
As you know, our beloved Giovanni left Navelli, September 1953, never to return. The family has never forgotten him and never will. Today family and friends gathered to talk about this tremendous loss. The bells for Giovanni’s passing rang today in Navelli.
Words cannot in any way capture what we are feeling today, but they can certainly capture that we are all very close to you during this trying and difficult period.
Please accept our most heartfelt condolences. We love you very much, and do sincerely hope that these words help to lessen what must truly be a an insurmountable loss.
With love, Zio Tony, Zia Rosetta,Zia Maria, cousins, nephews and nieces
