Obituary of WALKER – Janice Ann

October 13, 1950 – August 12, 2010 Janice Walker beloved mother of David and Shaun of Calgary passed away on Thursday, August 12, 2010 at the age of 59 years. Janice was very well known for her love for her sons and she was their biggest fan; they will always remember her for being the number one taxi driver in Brooks. Janice enjoyed doing crafts and her work was important to her. She loved dealing with people and was well known by many. She was a determined person and she was a fighter right to the end; even in the midst of her fight with cancer she was there to support other people. Janice is survived by her two sons and a daughter-in-law Shaun, David Lennon and Cory Benedict all of Calgary; two brothers and sister-in-law Wm. Ian Walker of Tomball, TX, Bruce and Donna-Lee Walker of Penticton, BC; a sister Susan G. Stokins of Sherwood Park, AB. Janice is also survived by her loyal companion Silver and many other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her parents Gordon and Verona Walker and her step father Charles V. Stokins.
