Obituary of LAPINSKY – Grace

October 1, 1928 – August 9, 2010 Grace Lapinsky of Cochrane passed away on Monday, August 9, 2010 at the age of 81 years. Grace was born and raised in Portage la Prairie, Manitoba. She married Jim Lapinsky on May 19, 1948 and after the wedding they immediately embarked on their exciting aviation journey together. Grace will always be remembered for all of her brilliant talents including her love of knitting, sewing and crafts. Her home cooked meals at the ranch were the finest and enjoyed by many either at the kitchen table or in the dining room. Grace will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Judy (Wayne); son Jimmy (Lorie); three grandchildren, Wayne, Cathy (Mark) and Lisa (Joe) and two great grandchildren, Cole, Judith and her father Tom. She is also survived by her brother Chuck (Lorraine) Fidler. She was predeceased by her husband Jim in 2002; son Calvin; infant twins; granddaughter Amy; sister Beryl Davidson; brothers-in-law Ray Davidson and Gordy Lapinsky and her parents Hannah and Bert Fidler.
