Your engraving is done and it looks great for both of you! I love you and miss you both…LOVE ALWAYS AND HUGS AND KISSES Leigh-Anne
Dear Leigh-Anne Your mom and I met at Pan American Petroleum in about 1963 and were very close friends til I moved to Vancouver in 69 we kept in close contact for our remaining years until the last few months and what a lesson I have learned in not putting things off .. had meant to call her several times the week of her death. Your mom always spoke to me of you with great pride. To me Marg was a great example of courage and positive attitude but her most special gift to me was her gift of hospitality: as a single gal in the 60’s, I was often lonely on a Sunday and how your mom brightened my day when she’d phone and say “what are you doing … well I’m whipping up .. why don’t u join us” and it was always a Manhattan or 2 followed by a gourmet meal. We shared many a laugh and good shopping sprees – often getting Nick’s approval before deciding if an outfit was really a “10”. We only had a few at our wedding but she was a very treasured guest. I thank you Lord for blessing my life with such a wonderful friend and thank you that she didn’t suffer. Have been and will continue to pray for His sustaining love in this difficult time. Much love, Gerry-lou
