Obituary of SALVE – Jose Chiong

September 11, 1935 – August 8, 2010 Jose Salve Calgary passed away on Sunday, August 8, 2010 at the age of 74 years. Jose was born in Asturias, Cebu, Philippines and immigrated to Canada in 1975. Jose is survived by his wife Maria (Jane) Salve and their daughter Mazel Salve; his children and their spouses, Clifton and Linda Salve, Wendell Salve, Melissa and Keith Small, Levitha and Randy Kiez, Zacharry Salve and Michelle Johnson, and Jephunneh and Janette Salve and their mother Susana Salve; eleven grandchildren, Rizza Lynn Salve, Clifton Salve Jr., Ashley Salve, Chantelle Small, Danielle Small, Dara Kiez, Lucas Salve, Jonah Salve, Zain Salve, Justin Salve, and Nathan Salve. He is also survived by three sisters and two brothers and their spouses, Paciencia and Lenne Paca, Estrella Mangui, Felicito and Niña Salve, Paule Salve, and Rosario and Benjamin Rallon all of the Philippines as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by daughter-in-law Laverne Salve in March 2010 and his brother Prospero Salve, his father Sequndino and his mother Justinia Salve. Funeral Services will be held at Grace Presbyterian Church (1009 – 15th Avenue S.W.) on Wednesday, August 25, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
