Obituary of MATTERN – Anne Isabelle

April 27, 1924 – August 3, 2010 Anne Mattern of Calgary passed away on Tuesday, August 3, 2010 at the age of 86 years. Anne was born in Coronation, Alberta and met her husband Leo in Calgary where they raised their family. Her family was dear to her heart and Anne always put her family before herself. She had a passion for reading and was known as a fun loving person with a very generous heart. Anne is survived by three sons and two daughters-in-law, Ed Mattern, Frank and Carol Mattern, and Kim and Pat Mattern all of Calgary and numerous grandchildren. Anne is also survived by a sister, Lena Whitney. She was predeceased by her parents and many brothers.
