Obituary of BEATSON – Geraldine

August 15, 1952 – August 3, 2010 Geraldine Beatson passed away on Tuesday, August 3, 2010 at the age of 57 years. Geraldine was happiest when she was surrounded by her family. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and sister. Her two grandchildren were the pride and joy of her life. She brought love and kindness to everyone she met. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Besides her loving husband Derek Beatson, Geraldine is remembered by her son Adam Lord (Patricia), daughter Cori Giso (Jason) and her grandchildren Taylor and Isabelle Lord. She is also survived by her sisters; Evelyn Kyes, Debbie Thomas (Elson), Valerie Slapak (Rob) and brother Leigh Gibos (Jody). Geraldine is predeceased by her first husband Kenton Lord, father Joseph Gibos and mother Anne Hawkins. “A hundred years from now it will not matter what my bank account was, the sort of house I lived in, or the kind of car I drove…but the world may be different because I was important in the life of a child.” Forest E.
