Obituary of CURRY – Maurice Carroll

August 9, 1925 – July 27, 2010 Maurice Curry passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 27, 2010 at the age of 84 years with his daughter Denise by his side. Maurice was predeceased by his Father Earl; Mother Muriel; and brothers, Arthur, Stewart and Rosco. Maurice was born in Vermilion Alberta, spent most of his youth in Edmonton and joined the Navy at 17. After the war Maurice returned to Edmonton, married, and moved to Calgary. Maurice was a consummate salesman who enjoyed people and always had a joke to tell. Maurice is survived by his daughter Denise; son Raymond; good friend Eileen; his brother Ken; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank the staff at the Colonel Belcher for their wonderful care and compassion. A private family gathering has been held.
