Obituary of PORCALLA – Virginia Guevarra

October 12, 1914 – July 27, 2010 Virginia Porcalla of Calgary, AB, passed away on July 27, 2010 at the age of 95 years. Virginia was born on October 12, 1914 in Manila, Philippines and immigrated to Calgary in 1984 where she has resided since. Virginia was a dedicated homemaker who had a passion for cooking. She was an active member of the Catholic Woman’s League as well as the Legion of Mary. Virginia is survived by her sons, Manuel Amorsolo, Ramon and Ernesto Porcalla; daughters, Norma Amorsolo Sean, Corazon Bebot Amorsolo Viri, Rosalia Amorsolo Sean, Carmela Porcalla Santos, Remedios Porcalla, and Veronica Porcalla Bautista. Virginia was predeceased by her loving husband Jose; sons, George, Antonio and Luis; parents, Juana and Patricio Guevarra; and brother Apolomio Guevarra.
