Obituary of HALL – Thomas Jack

September 26, 1923 – July 26, 2010 Thomas Jack Hall passed away on Monday, July 26, 2010 at the age of 86 years. Jack was born on September 26, 1923 in Minitonas, MB. He graduated from the University if Alberta as a Chemical Engineer. Jack discovered the Waskada oilfield for Omega Hydrocarbons Ltd. in 1981, and later, was inducted into the Oilman’s Hall of Fame in Virden, MB. Some of Jack’s favourite loves were: salmon fishing with his grandson Mark, golfing at Earl Grey Golf Club and spending his winters in Mesa, AZ. Jack will be remembered by his beloved wife Violet; his children, Dennis Hall of Calgary, Dawn (Gary) Browne of Calgary, Bonnie Hall (Jaye McManes) and her children Sara and Mark of Calgary and Robbin Shandel of Calgary. He will be fondly remembered by his sister Vera Clegg and brother Ross Hall, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and extended family. Jack was predeceased by his parents Walter and Mary Hall; brothers Gavin and Arnold; sisters Mae and Alma. Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Park Memorial Chapel (5008 Elbow Drive S.W.) on Friday, July 30, 2010 at 10:30 a.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
