Obituary of DOIG – Edwin Donald

October 12, 1939 – July 23, 2010 Don Doig, beloved husband of Lori Doig of Calgary, passed away on Friday, July 23, 2010 at the age of 70 years. Edwin Donald Doig was born October 12, 1939 in Kindersley, Saskatchewan, the second son of Robert and Winnifred Doig of Hoosier, Saskatchewan. He married Loretta (Lori) Stahl on August 5, 1961 in Medicine Hat, Alberta. Don is survived by his wife, Lori; two sons, Miles (Mia) and their children Emily, Devon and Ashley of Aliso Viejo, California; son, Shawn (Deanna) and their children Anna and Aiden of Emerald Park, Saskatchewan. He is also survived by his brother, Bob (Betty Ann) Doig former long-term residents of Chamberlain, now of Regina; and numerous nieces and nephews. Don was predeceased by his parents. A memorial service will be held at McInnis & Holloway Crowfoot Chapel, 82 Crowfoot Circle N.W., Calgary, Alberta Tuesday, August 3, 2010 at 10:30 a.m. Condolences may be forwarded through www.mcinnisandhalloway.com.
