Edie My thoughts are with you today and will be tomorrow. I am afraid I cannot get to the funeral because I am working, but I will be thinking of you. I am glad Humbert’s long struggle is over. And what a loving and loyal wife he had! After things settle down a bit, you will always know that you did the very best you could for him. I will call you and perhaps we can get together for lunch. A bit later on, of course. In the meantime, take care of yourself.
