I have wonderful childhood memories of going to “Chiuppi’s”, I was in my early teens and lived in North Drum. We rarely missed a stop to the store and North Drum Groceries after school. Mr Chiuppi used to put every penny into a big can, and talk about saving for a trip to Hawaii. He was kind and soft spoken. We have been to the place many times since, when passing through, for nostelgia reasons.
