Condolences
Dear Family;
I haven’t kept in touch as I should have but I have often thought of Audrey. Many evenings when I’m having a coffee I think of the many hours we spent over coffee, laughing, crying or complaining about our lives. Audrey will always have a special place in my heart.
Love from the entire Bruneau Family
Hello Tamara, so sorry to hear about your mom. Years ago when we went to school together she treated me so wonderful and was a really lovely lady.
I know this is a hard time for you and hope you and your family all the best.
My sincerest sorrow for your loss. She will be missed by many. I wish you all the best in this sad time.
Dear Roy, Rod, Tamara, Donna, and Larry, and your entire family, how very sad I was to read of your Mum’s passing in today’s paper. It’s been a good 35 years or so since we last saw your Mum or your family, but have often thought of her throughout the years. We lived across the street from you on Queen Alexandra Close way back in 1975 when we first emmigrated from England. Your Mum was extremely kind to our family, and I will always remember our first terrible, harsh Calgary winter when my own mother was stuck in a snow drift outside our house early one morning. Your Mum came outside in her bathrobe (and I think Larry helped too) after seeing us struggle and began to help us rock and push that darn car free. Sure enough, she accomplished that task! It always amazed us that she would have done that for us on that cold morning, and so early in the morning too! She was so kind to us, and always showed us cheer whenever we would see one another. Coming to Canada was a scary and lonely experience for me and my family, and your Mum helped make it a brighter place, and we will always remember that and be thankful. She came from a generation of neighbours helping neighbours, which is seemingly a rare thing these days now, something to cherish about her. We are so sorry for your loss, how very sad you all must be. We wish your family peace. May your special Mum rest in peace. Thank you for sharing your Mum with us.
Sincerely,
Anne Sacco (originally Gilchrist) and family
To All Who Loved Audrey, We all know that to have known Audrey in any manner you truly gave away a piece of your heart to a worthy lady. And she kept it and nourished it and set it in a place in her heart for safe keeping. We feel blessed to call Audrey our friend, and it seems so small a word for such a rare and pure friendship she offered back. I hope you all get through this heavy hearted time with grace and quick healing for you all. Smile, as we will, remembering a special person whom we were priviledged to know.
