Obituary of BROCKLEHURST – Barbara Joan

February 16, 1931 – July 9, 2010 Barbara Joan Brocklehurst passed away peacefully on Friday, July 9, 2010 at the age of 79 years. Barbara was born in Crystal Falls, Ontario on February 16, 1931 to parents Iva and George Cooper. She grew up in Swastika, ON, and later graduated from High School in Kirkland Lake, ON. Barbara is the beloved mother to children, Barry LeDuc and his wife Darlene, Christine Keogh and daughter-in-law Diane Horodecki; grandmother to Sean and Alison Walsh, Austin Keogh, Amanda and Darquise LeDuc, who knew her as “Nanny”. Barbara is also lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews, and many more honourary daughters and grandchildren. Barbara was predeceased by husbands, Leo LeDuc of Kirkland Lake, ON, and Richard Brocklehurst of Barrie, ON., son Rick LeDuc and sisters, Gwen Sweet and Marg Stevens.
