I remember the good old days with Janis at Encyclopedia Brittanica. The time he got mugged at the mall in the men’s washroom. Funny story telling in the sales meeting with Frank Adams and Doug Rylands. Good times that went appreciated as much as they should have been at the time.

Janis was a tough old guy,..a Second World War refugee who spent some postwar years wandering the devastation in Europe before making it over to Canada.
