Obituary of CAMERON – Col Keith Mackenzie

April 16, 1928 – June 28, 2010 Keith Cameron, beloved husband of Pat of Calgary passed away peacefully on Monday, June 28, 2010 at the age of 82 years. Keith was born on April 16, 1928 in Vancouver, B.C. He served 34 years in the Royal Canadian Air Force in the Air Traffic Control/Air Operations Career Field. During his career he served in Canada, France and Germany. He was awarded the Order of Military Merit (O.M.M.) in 1978. After his retirement from the Air Force Keith worked for the Geological Survey of Canada as head of administration and finance from 1982 to 1994. He also volunteered with the Calgary Police Department for several years. Keith and Pat, throughout their marriage enjoyed travelling. Keith was an avid golfer and skier. He was also a pilot and loved to fly. He will be forever loved and missed. Keith will be lovingly remembered by his beloved wife of sixty years Pat, his children Jane Cameron, Barbara McEwan and son-in-law Brett. Keith was blessed with two grandchildren Cameron and Ross McEwan. He was very proud of his family. At Keith and Pat’s request there will be no service.
