My heart broke for you this morning as I read your tribute to your precious Tater. My grandson, Beau was born in March of 2007 and lived for six days, and I know that there is no pain like the loss of a child. Your family will be in my thoughts and prayers in the coming days and weeks, as you learn to live without your darling boy. May you be comforted by the memories of his happy smile, and by the knowledge that someone else’s child has been blessed with life and health because of him. You will never forget him, nor will you ever regret one moment of his presence in your lives. Our family has found ways of remembering and paying tribute to Beau, and I hope you do too. Write, journal or blog your thoughts, feelings and impressions, if you can – in the months and years to come, you will find joy in those snapshots of his life with you.
