Tim, Pam and family – sincerest condolences from the Calgary Chorney’s on the passing of your dear mom; regrets we could not be with you in person to pay our respects.
I’ll never forget her gracious hospitality of almost 20 years ago now when she opened her home to a few hooligans from Edmonton who were accompanying you on a ski trip to Banff; although we had planned to hit the town for a night out, I don’t know that we made it far since we somehow got sidetracked by the best lasagna I’ll have in my life (all due respect to my mom!), some of Peter’s fine wine – and captivating banter about the winter Olympics that were happening then, and whether Austria was getting the better of Italy or vice-versa. It was time very well spent!
