Obituary of MADRIGAL – Margaret Irene

March 6, 1942 – June 20, 2010 Margaret Madrigal, beloved wife of Carlos Madrigal of Calgary, passed away peacefully from lung cancer on Sunday, June 20, 2010 at the age of 68 years. Margaret was born in Preston, UK and moved to Canada in 1966. She enjoyed her career as a legal secretary for various law firms in Calgary. Margaret was an active gardener with a passion for planning vacations. She was a vibrant, colourful and spirited force in the lives of her family and friends and will be sorely missed. Besides her loving husband of forty-five years, Margaret is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Irene and Glen Phillips; grandsons, Derek and Kevin; sister Kay Sprenger of Pointe au Baril, ON; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S, Chapel of the Bells (2720 Centre Street North) on Thursday, June 24, 2010 at 10:30 a.m. Condolences may be forwarded through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
