Obituary of Casello Sr.

CASELLO – Renato Sr. April 28, 1928 – June 17, 2010 Renato Casello Sr. beloved husband of Amalia of Calgary passed away on Thursday June 17, 2010 at the age of 82 years. Renato was born in San Martino, Di Finita, Cosenza, Italy and immigrated to Canada in 1953. He returned to San Martino to marry Amalia in 1959 and they returned to Calgary one month later. Renato was employed with CP Rail for many years and also worked at the Palliser Hotel. Besides his loving wife, Amalia, Renato is survived by his four children, Cosetta Casello, Ada Casello, Laura and Pietro Sarro and Renato Jr. and Bobbie Casello all of Calgary; and six grandchildren, Martina, Paolo and Arcangelo Sarro and Renato Arthur, Amalia and Isabella Casello. Relatives and friends are invited to Prayers and Tributes at Holy Name Catholic Church (2223 – 34th Street S.W.) on Tuesday, June 22, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Name Catholic Church (2223 – 34th Street S.W. on Wednesday, June 23, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. Graveside Service to follow at Holy Family Cemetery at Eden Brook Memorial Gardens.
