Obituary of Colleen Fraser

October 1, 1976 – June 17, 2010 Colleen Fraser, beloved wife of Jon Havens, passed away suddenly on Thursday, June 17, 2010 at the age of 33 years. Colleen was born in Calgary, AB and lived all her life in the Calgary area. Her favourite memories were of Canyon Meadows where she was raised. Colleen’s greatest love was her family, whom she adored. She had a love of nature, particularly Fish Creek Park, as well as swimming, fishing and camping. One of her greatest joys in life was her paintings, which she shared with many of her family and friends. She was very passionate about all animals, especially her dogs, Archer and Asha. Colleen leaves behind her husband Jon; children, Destin, Chase and Aidan; parents, Alistair (Kara), and Jamie; parents-in-law, Dianne and Ross; brother Ian; sisters, Helen and Sheila (Bill); uncle Doug; nephew Dylan; grandmas, Flora Fraser and Isabella Richards; and many aunts, uncles and cousins in Canada, Scotland, England and Australia; as well as life-long friends in Calgary. Colleen was predeceased by her grandparents Frank and Janet Blyth, and granddad Ian Fraser. A private family gathering will be held. Condolences may be forwarded through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
