Condolences
Dear Robby, I’m so sorry to hear this news.
Charlie and I had a complex, but never boring, relationship.
There was never a dull moment when Charlie was around and I loved his zest for life and his willingness to jump into whatever was happening.
We went drinking, skiing, designing bars…I think we may have even traded a few punches at times…well I could go on and on.
It’s unfortunate that we drifted apart, but I moved to Victoria and have been happy here.
I hope you are doing well…still in Calgary?..and that if you’re ever in Victoria you will look me up.

Dear Robby,
What a moving tribute to such a vital man. The best part is that he DID live his life with honesty and integrity and truth. I was priviledged to have known him, to count him as a friend and it really is an honor to be able to truly mourn his loss because of who and what he was. I will always remember his unabashedly joyful approach to life.
I was thinking about the time when we were in Red Deer at the Rhea convention and he was up dancing with Fonzi, the Hutterite comedian. He laughed until he nearly fell down, had tears pouring out of his eyes and had the whole place in an uproar! And that is just one of my special memories! Robby, I send you so much love. I know that the days ahead are going to be difficult and lonely sometimes, but know I’m walking beside you through this.
Love,
Sheila
