July 7, 1929 – June 17, 2010 Patricia Rogers, beloved wife of George of Calgary, passed away on Thursday, June 17, 2010 at the age of 80 years. Born in Calgary on July 7, 1929, Patricia attended Sunalta School and Western Canada High School. In 1955, she was married to George Rogers at St. Stephen’s Church. She was employed with Cadman Film Studio, Hudson’s Bay Company and Mobil Oil. Patricia attended cowboy church at Ranchman’s on Macleod Trail and also various bible study groups. She was a member of Springbank Heritage Club. Patricia loved to cook, horseback ride, animals and the country life. She also liked reading the bible. Besides her loving husband George, Patricia is also survived by her daughter Susan Fyfe of Stony Plain, AB; son Chris Rogers of Calgary; grandchildren, Evan, Lane and Travis; brother Bud (Donna) Bebb of Parksville, BC; sister Iris (John) Schultz of Spokane, Washington; and many other loving family members. A Celebration of Patricia’s Life will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S, Chapel of the Bells (2720 Centre Street North) on Friday, June 25, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
