Obituary of WONFOR – Rebecca Patricia

August 17, 1916 – June 16, 2010 Rebecca “Pat” Wonfor, beloved wife of John Wonfor of Calgary, passed away on Wednesday, June 16, 2010 at the age of 93 years Pat was born to William and Mary Pirie in Ottawa, ON on August 17, 1916. She was educated in the Ottawa School System, and married John Wonfor on April 12, 1948. Pat is survived by her husband John; sister Beatrice “Pinkie” Pirie; children Stephen (Lynnie Graburn), Patricia Ann (Tim Palmer) and Virginia (Jim Godin); granddaughters Jennifer, Johanna, Emily, Julia, Lauren, Zoe, and great-grandson James. Pat was totally dedicated to her family and to others. When she walked into a room, the room lit up; when she walked outside, the world lit up.
