My heart is broken for you all in this time of tragic and immense loss. We are saying goodbye to an incredible lady, and to say that she will be greatly missed is an understatement. Connie was truly an amazing person – beautiful smile, killer sense of humour, and the sweetest voice of reason.

She was the quiet life of the party, the first one to celebrate good news, the person you wanted to call when you were in trouble. So many incredible memories I have of her…she had a way of making every person in her presence feel welcome and special. I will miss her laugh, her movie-star impressions, singing Elton John songs at the top of her lungs, and her passionate chats about the horses and when we were going to take our next afternoon ride…

Someday, Connie, we’ll do that again. Saddle the horses for us…
