Condolences
Here it is Rod, a year since you passed, and I only just found out! So sorry you couldn’t stay longer…Didn’t we have some amazing and strange times in University, in Australia and then on the commune is Slocan, BC ? To his children and grandchildren… Rod was a sparkling and beautiful person, and a real Scorpio ! Maybe no one reads this any more… but still… it was too soon. Be a Star in Heaven !
We live in Vancouver now and have just been informed of Rod’s passing. We lived in Calgary for many years and acted with Rod in many projects and in the Standardized Patients Program. Rod directed us in TEN LOST YEARS. Rod had a wonderful self-deprecating sense of humour and made everyone in his presence feel comfortable and welcome–a rare gift. We send our condolences to his entire family. We will always cherish the many fond memories that we have of Rod and know that his friends and family will be comforted with the knowledge that the world is a better place because Rod helped make it so. Sincerely, Jacqueline and Joyce Robbins.
We are thinking of everyone during this difficult time. I have fond and happy memories of my cousin Rod, a talented actor, musician and all-round great guy.
He will be missed.
Rest in peace.
I am so sorry for your loss. I don’t have the words to express my feelings – just know that Rod was a singular influence in my life and I will miss him.
Rest in Peace, Rod. Gone so suddenly – at least I was able to chat with you at the ACTRA Candidates meeting a few weeks ago in Calgary. Will miss your guiding strength that supported our group in difficult times – and will miss the fun of working with you…
My thoughts and prayers are with each and every one of you through this difficult time!
Never, ever, did I imagine that Rod would sprout wings ahead of me…?
Fly HIGH my friend…!!!
Peace
We are both deeply saddened by this sudden and horrible news. Our thoughts and love go out to Aramis, her Mom, Riley and Tristin and all the loving friends and family that Rod shared. You all will be in our thoughts on Saturday and we will pray that happier and sunnier days are ahead for you all.
Please know my thoughts are with the Padmos family and friends. Rod was a strong advocate for the arts in Calgary and a great contributor. All that knew Rod will miss him dearly.
