Obituary of SEXSMITH – Sheila
September 16, 1922 – June 12, 2010
Sheila Sexsmith of Calgary, passed away on Saturday, June 12, 2010 at the age of 87 years.
Sheila was born and raised in Midnapore / Red Deer Lake area where she spent her entire life.
Sheila is survived by her children, Catherine (George) Leggott of Alix, AB, Tim (Rawn) Sexsmith of Priddis, AB, and Linda (Charlie) Iverson of Calgary, AB; seven grandchildren, Charlene, Lisa, Laura, Heather, Lesley, Logan, and Tyson; nine great-grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Sheila was predeceased by her loving husband Stewart; son Marston; parents, Ed and Doreen McKevitt; and sisters, Joan Burston and Shirley Van Tighem.
A Celebration of Sheila’s Life will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Fish Creek Chapel (14441 Bannister Road S.E.) on Friday, June 18, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
