Obituary of BONKOWSKY – Zeljka Nevenka Jill

March 8, 1961 – June 11, 2010 Zeljka Nevenka “Jill” Bonkowsky beloved wife of Bruce Bonkowsky of Calgary, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 11, 2010 at the age of 49 years. Jill was born on March 8, 1961 in Calgary. She graduated from Ernest Manning High school in 1979 and married Bruce Bonkowsky on October 11, 1986. For many years, Jill enjoyed her work as a production accountant in the oil and gas industry, most recently with Penngrowth Resources. Jill loved life, sunshine, and especially becoming a grandmother. Jill was a loving mother and a shining star who blessed many lives. She was loved by many and will be remembered now and forever. In addition to her loving husband Bruce, Jill is survived by a son Cody Bonkowsky of Calgary; two daughters, Katelyn Bonkowsky and Lindsay (Gam) Wijesooriya of Calgary; a grandson Enzo Wijesooriya; parents, Katy and Karlo Bakarich; brothers, Zack, Darko, and Gord (Tina) Bakarich; sisters, Judie (James) Agnew, Anita Bakarich, and sisters-in-law, Barbara Bonkowsky, Beverly (Anthony) Kelly; and mother-in-law Christel Bonkowsky.
