Obituary of ARNDT – Reinhold

October 18, 1929 – June 11, 2010 Reinhold Arndt, beloved husband of Veronica Arndt of Calgary, passed away on Friday, June 11, 2010 at the age of 80 years. Reinhold immigrated to Canada from Germany in 1952. He lived in Regina and Wolsley, SK. as well as Vancouver, BC where he worked in photography for five years before moving to Kelowna, BC, and then to Calgary, AB where he worked for the City of Calgary for twenty five years as a heavy equipment operator. Reinhold retired in 1989. Reinhold is survived by wife Veronica Arndt of forty three years; son Richard Arndt (Bryana Kelbert); brother, Ernst Arndt (Stella Arndt); sister, Maria Franken; and numerous cousins, nephews and nieces. Reinhold was predeceased by his parents Ludwig and Ida Arndt; and brother-in-law Karl Franken.
